| The aura is composed of subtle bodies that radiate out from the core of our being. These appear to form layers that overlap each other, spreading out further away from the body. Each one has a higher vibration than the last, but is integrated into every layer that has preceded it, including the physical body. That is the energy becomes faster, less dense and lighter than the one before. It is a lot easier to see the lower layers due to their density. Seven layers are generally worked with, each one having a different purpose. Each layer is often connected to a chakra e.g. the base chakra with the first layer. They are related, fulfilling similar functions in some areas and in others, complementing each other. |
